In this drawing, there are two U.S soldiers who are on an island at war in the Pacific. This battle was the bloodiest in the Pacific with 25 million deaths. This helped me come to a realization that millions of people fought for our right to "freedom." I hope some people learn that these people fought for the right of all of our freedom, not just a certain group of peoples freedom. Some are still treated less than and it makes me angry knowing these people put their life on the line just for some to not be treated fairly because of the color of their skin or gender. Knowing the death toll, it shows me no one really won in this war no matter the outcome because of the damage each country had. In the end of this, the U.S dropped two atomic bombs that made Japan surrender and end the war.
